OUR STORY

A Place to Stop, Stay & Explore

Mababe River Lodge & Campsites is located in the Khwai Mababe region of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, on the way to the Moremi and Chobe Game Reserves.

We are close to the Moremi North Gate and Chobe Mababe Gate, on the doorstep of the renowned Savute Marsh and on the edge of the Mababe Depression. Here, surrounded by wilderness, you will find an abundance of wildlife.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Mababe River Lodge. The room as well as the pool area are beautiful and clean. Moreover Christine is such a well-caring and lovely person. She did a fabulous job organizing our game drives which were operated by Bogale – such a wildlife expert and kind person. Also the hotel staff is super friendly. Food is nice and various.
